Cochin Thread!!!

i'm new to this thread but have a question for cochin breeders, i picked up a trio of silver penciled bantam cochins, the question is, are they suppose to have green legs? my other cochins don't. I'm not sure if they are suppose to but 3of my hens do. Ages range from 8 weeks to a year old.

i went out and took one pic, in it they look like a dark grey but they're green

no. cochins should have yellow legs. willow or black skin is not allowed. some darker varieties may have dusky/mottled legs but the bottoms of their feet should still be yellow.

Make sure it was that one which crowed, but he does look very cute so it would be dad to give it up. , maybe try the no crow collar from my pet chicken if you have a strong bond (idk how well it works)

Thanks it would be hard to give them away since I have raised them since they hatched

I am going to get one for my rooster today, because I raised mine from hatch too.

Looking for some advice. My little guy will be 7 weeks tomorrow and he is become a little aggressive. He keeps trying to bite and force me out of the coop. Until recently he was the sweetest of my bunch and loved to be held. I have two small children that are now afraid to help because they don't want him to bite them.
