Can someone help me on the color of my little Cochin? He's my only one and I'm not very good at determining color patterns. He is 6 months old. Thank you.

He looks gold laced like my Sunny. Shes a few posts back if you want to see her.

My Beardies almost WASHED AWAY!! Me and my hubby went out to check on them and to talk about what ones of the little boys was getting sold and for how much and it was thundering bad and we decided that it was probably going to rain hard again and that they should all get moved into the shed where the boys sleep so not to bug the neighbors in the mornings. He went in the house to grab them their slice of bread they get for a treat before bed and I opened their pen door so they could get out for a min while they waited for him to get back. My hubby was half way across the yard and this huge flash of lightning shot down and hit the mountain behind our house with a loud crash. The thunder scared the little beardies and most of them ran over to hide under my feet. My hubby said he almost saw his life flash before his eyes. Right after that it was just a down poor of HUGE rain drops and little marble size hail mixed. We started snatching birds up and stuffing them in the kennel in the shed. Even though it only took us a few min to get everyone tucked in a nice dry bed the last few birds that got put in were drenched to the skin. Me and my hubby had to go get towels to dry ourselves off too -_-. I'm so glad we checked on them when we did because after waiting in the shed with the birds for a few min to see if there would be a break in the rain (there wasn't) and to give them their little slice of bread, their whole pen was flooded pretty bad. If this rain had waited till after we had gone to bed and the rain didn't wake me up they would probably all have gotten hypothermia. THIS RAIN IS ICE COLD O.O The roof on their current pen leaks kinda bad in the rain and we are in the proses of building a new run for them but every time we have a 'build day' it rains even if the forecast was suppose to be sunny -_-.

Hi Cochin thread. This is my first time raising Cochin's and i just wanted to see anyone had an opinion on 1 of my girls. I have 2 but this is the only picture i have. For some reason the pictures of them never turn out good. They are both barred but this one is a darker barring then the other. Also wanted to know when they stop growing, I read they are slow growers. She is 25 weeks.

They don't seem to mind much actually. They don't try to run away when i grab for them.
