Awww...my Bantam Cochin girl is EXACTLY the same!  We have them as pets so they are friendly and very "people social"...LOL! I hatched out a Bantam Mille Fluer D'Uccle but was soooo sad she didn't make it

Oh no! Was it because of this genetics? I was wondering if it's safe or what they would turn out like.

Thank you! The Calico/mille fleurs are hard to come by around here and i finally found another pair yesterday. I had a pair a couple months ago that i bought from a breeder along with a silkie but all three died a week or so after bringing them home.

It was my only one of that breed to hatch and it died at a week and a half

Never understood what happened...would seem healthy one day, then totally lethargic the next. She did cheep a lot since her hatch and I suspect something with her digestion system was not right because she seemed to have a day of perky, good eating ect...then next day would be tough and she had a hard time pooping

Hopefully your will be healthy and thrive!!!! I didn't do anything "official" to see what happened...just my observations!

My mottled Cochin, Dottie. I love her. I need to find her a rooster though. She lives with my Silkies right now, and her eggs are never fertile. I guess my Silkie rooster cant' see well enough to catch her, which is a shame, because I'd like to hatch some eggs from her to use in my Sizzle project!

Aww sad! In going to give it a shot. I have had a couple pullets die on me. Always sad! I'm curious what your chick looked like ? You have any pictures . If you still want eggs no problem ! I'm not sure what part of the state you live in but you can have for free if you want to pay for shipping. Was the pullet cute?
