Cochin Thread!!!

can someone give me a list of all the recognized colors for Cochins.  i really like the breed but not all the colors but i want to look up all the recognized so i know what i want in the future.

The recongnized variety of cochins are Buff, Partridge, White, Black , Silver laced, Golden laced, Blue, Brown and Barred

Hi everyone. Any ideas what color this Cochin baby is? The eggs were sold as silver laced.. I'm guessing it's not that, lol. I thought maybe gold laced but I've never raised laced birds. It almost looks like my Partridge Brahma babies start out..?

Thanks guys. So weird. The eBay seller does list other birds but no partridge.. I'm almost curious enough to ask though, lol. Silver laced to partridge is a stretch.

Hmm.. If she does turn out partridge (and a she, lol).. If she has nice pattern, is there any use for a Cochin in a brahma breeding pen? She does have wonderful toe feathering.

well i bought a gold laced wyandotte pullet at the flea market and ended up with an easter egger! not even close to a wyandotte. still a happy accident though. she is my most beautiful hen and i was wanting an easter egger anyway. besides i didn't like how the woman treated the chicks. when she pulled mine out of the cage she dropped it! then tried to tell me chicks weren't fragile! my chick made it home in one piece though. and now she is my biggest and my most beautiful.
