Cochin Thread!!!

HE did crow today, thanks
LauraO

I thought so. His legs were too long to be a she. Congrats! Well, congrats if you wanted a roo. I am in Chicago too, and am trying to keep 3 roos. Spring is around the corner though, and the neighbors will begin opening their windows.

i have seven roos. not all cochins. i am only keeping my three original roos, my first a cochin, my second a New Hampshire Red, and my third a Japanese Bantam. the other four will hopefully be traded for hens in the spring.

I have a SL bantam cochin roo, huge Blue Orp, I also have his brother that has bad feet but he will be gone before spring, I just felt bad for him. And a SL Orp. I am going to try and add a 4th from my Mottled blue and black bantam cochins chicks. But these mottled are so cute, I ended up with 3 pullets and 1 cockerel.
