The comb isn't very red for 5 months, my guess would be pullet, but I could be wrong

I agree pullet, if five months old. But I think her legs look quite long, so maybe some mix in there?

Might buy some Free range buff cochins.

Still have to find some more LF blue Cochins...

Is it possible for a cochin to have too many foot feathers? My 12 week old cockerel is huge...and very clumsy lol. His foot feathers are long and curled and even jogging across cut grass he trips lol. Here's Harley the clutz...

At 12 weeks I mistake him for my 3 year old barred rocks in the yard if I don't have a good view of his legs because of his size! I know they are slow to mature soooooo when can I expect him to max out?

My 5 month old blue cockerel is as tall as he is going to get, but now filled out yet. He is also very clumsy..

It looks like they are just very long, my hens have more volume but are short.

I don't think there's such thing as to long, but it does look kind of weird
