Also how do you get Lemon-Blues?
Is it BuffxBlue?

Im interested to know that as well! I think they are gorgeous. I have a blue cockerel (i think) as well and would consider keeping him to try to breed some lemon-blues.

Thanks for your response on Harley...im hoping its just teenage ackwardness right now and they dont look so ridiculous in another few months. However im also terrified that he will "grow into" those feathers and max out at 20 lbs lol! I have 3 blue girls and a beatiful black one that i didnt think would be my fav colour but she is turning out to be stunning.
Have another that im pretty sure is a roo but i have no idea what color he is. He was a cream coloured chick (only one of the batch) but hes so dark now. Will post a recent side pic when i switch devices and maybe you can help me out. Thx again

I've never actually seen a lemon blue in person, but I think they'd be cool to have.

I have to first work on my blues some more and get more BQ and SQ ones

Willy...he doesn't look like any of my blues. I assumed he was splash because of his coloring as a chick. But sure not turning out that way! Both parents were blue supposedly...

Is he just bad colouring/breeding or do I need to wait to see how he turns out?
You can't offend me so be honest! Lol

Here's my pretty Lola

He's not a black, or a splash.. Maybe a mottled...
Lola is pretty though!!

Is it possible for a cochin to have too many foot feathers? My 12 week old cockerel is huge...and very clumsy lol. His foot feathers are long and curled and even jogging across cut grass he trips lol. Here's Harley the clutz...

At 12 weeks I mistake him for my 3 year old barred rocks in the yard if I don't have a good view of his legs because of his size! I know they are slow to mature soooooo when can I expect him to max out?

I've noticed that a lot of barred cochins have the fluffiest feet!! Well, everyone I've seen. So cute!
