Cochin Thread!!!

I read back through a few pages and I see I’m not the only one a little disappointed that my straight run Cochin didn’t end up being a rooster. every time I get a straight run from TSC it ends up being a rooster except this time when I’m counting on it being a rooster. However, my little “Goldie Hen” is a beauty. I would have never expected such beautiful lacing on a hatchery chick. I love how dainty she is. This is her around 10 weeks old.

I have 4 standard and 5 bantam Cochins. I got them at TSC at different times and they all ended up silver laced except one. Here are the bantams:

We also have two white frizzle Cochins and two red. This is Angel: 20190520_190012.jpg
The other frizzles and the standards don't have names.

new chicken owner and from the local feed store I picked two from the group labeled black Cochin pullets and then in another brooder 1 bantam frizzle . I am very confused since they are all frizzled and no idea what size or gender they will be. That said they are sort of cute, but they need to grow more!

They are snuggled with some silkies in the last pic.
