I pronounce it as i have always heard it pronouned #2 and #3

I got 2 white cochin bantams yesterday and oh my god they are sooo beautiful, they are a pair and they are soo babyed already, they follows us around like puppy dogs and the boy well lets say he thinks the back of my feet is a female. LOL

Stella 2 weeks ago could not get up on her own

Stella today She is amazing and really fought hard for two weeks Hard to tell but she is standing and walking on her own

Thanks I really thought she had Marek's but that is a real quick recovery . So I hope vet was right it was rickets or mold in feed.

Hey everyone, this is completely random but since this is a Cochin thread, how exactly DO you pronounce Cochin??? I've always wondered that. I've always been saying it like, "COE-CHIN"

Does the "ch" in "chin" really make a "shh" or "s" sound???

I've also thought that maybe it was pronounced like, "CAW-CHIN" (instead of an "O" sound in "Co", I thought it may be more of a "Caw" sound that the "co" made?)

Just thought I would ask because I've always wondered how to pronounce it, since I have a Splash Cochin rooster.
