I managed to get some photos taken today.

Here are two pics of the f2 Self-Blues. These were hatched last year. I won't post any pics of the f3 splits here, but did take some pictures of them today and will post on the Self-Blue thread. Keep in mind that both of these birds have the wrong leg/foot color.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Can someone tell me if Cochin cockrels are normally bullyish? i have 3 week old chickens and one of them in there is a black cochin or lavender/split cochin and that chick is rasing havock in there. He chases everybody, pecks everybody and it seems he loves to hear them squeak. I'm not even sure it is a cockrel.

I have a LF roo who is a giant (and only about 9 months old) and he is as gentle as can be. Then I have a little tiny bantam hen who is as mean as they come (she wont come near me and I like it that way!) Most all of mine are calm and mild manered. but I think sometimes you can just get a mean one. I had a little one who seemed overly fond of chasing all of the others around (even the bigger ones) until finally one of the bigger ones gave him a good peck on the head. He eventually quit his game of chase and has calmed down.

Good luck with yours.
