To make your own oviously you need a millie roo correct? and what color cochin hens?
Just curious.

Yes, I saw the babies but not the adults.
You always have such nice chickens Kathy.
I can't wait to get my babies.

So would you use a buff cochin or white?

I am new to cochin bantams, and I think I may have posted here b4, but I wanted to get your opinions on my 7month old cochin Bantam cockerel.

what do the parents of yours look like? This is the roo and the hen to the chicks...think they will have the same color and pattern?

Wow! your pullet looks so much like one of my girls - Ginger. I have my roo in with three girls; Sophie is very pretty but is like a Mille Fleur/ Buff Mottled. Millie has the best Mille Fleur color and my Ginger has maybe too much buff.

I was going thru my uploads and I see the subtile changes in my roo (10 months old) Jasper - in August

in November -

when I first got him I thought he had too much red but I think he has changed for the better. I have another cockerel that came with my pullet Sophie, Flash, that I got as a back up but he is from the same flock as all three pullets and has an aweful lot of black -
