Thanx Clare! I'm going to put her in with her sire (below). If the lacing doesn't improve, then I'm going to try Tom's suggestion and breed in a BC Columbian next year.

How big are everyone's nest boxes who have full size cochins??? We have a mixed group of chickens but our cochins will be the largest so we want the nest boxes to be comfy for them....

One of our mottled chicks. I though the foot feathering was pretty nice. This is one of first mottled ever hatched~
