Oh and that pics about a week old...shes got less full white feathering on her now. They're coming off both her and the roo daily. And the other lil pullet gets more red feathering in with more mottling and "v" showing

It can save you a lot of years of failed attempts and way too many culls. I'm not breeding for a project right now, but I actually enjoy playing with it. It's relatively accurate so as I said, it helps a lot with cutting corners.

I love playing with the calculator...however I haven't seen anywhere to figure outsomething like these chicks will be split to mottle so if I breed to this...and it tell me possibilities. Did I miss that somewhere?

This would be enough to win me over to the mottled side. I'm not a big fan of them in black and blue, but this buff is just down right gorgeous.....
I have heard that the Buff Barred females are mottled, is there a chance that is what these girls are? Since there are no roos so far..................
