Hello all,
My son and I are planning on attending Crossroads in October. We are looking to purchase a few SQ birds there. We are open to any varieties of bantam cochins. He shows 4H and would like to show more open shows. If anyone is planning on being there and we could set up something ahead of time for purchasing I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I have 2 pair of buff columbians. I am not sure if they will be show quality but they are from SQ stock. They are a rarer variety so, there won't be much competition in the BV dept. but it is more difficult to win BB in an APA sanctioned show with a rare variety as their type cannot compete with a white/black/buff. You would still clean up at your local fair

They're a shoe in for that

The one pair may be spoken for but, the other may be able to be sent with friends whom are attending Crossroads. I'll post pics tomorrow..

You're funny. I just got on here. Now I know why...my ears were burning. I believe we could make room to deliver a pair for you. I'm trying to decide if I should offer some hatching eggs up for sale. Everyone is still laying like crazy. I have been incubating every egg that isn't white. Frankly, I'm out of room. Totes in the house, everything outside is at capacity. I need rescued!

Ya know I would love to go myself but, I am working on this http://ghfarm.webs.com/ghostsofgreenhill.htm and I think we're looking at over 3-400 visitors that day. The reenactment community is large and I've already been getting some great feedback.. lordy lordy... looks like I am shopping for a "camp dress"

Good News about my hatching.. I lowered my temps and jacked up the humidy and switched to a hatcher instead of trying to hatch in the cabinet bator. ...anyway, last batch hatched out great and are eating well.. looks like I won't be needing to take up any more of your space. I have some catching up to do though

hopefully, not enough to have babies in the house this winter.. oh, wait.. I've had babies in my bathroom for 3 months

I just wanted to remind all Cochins International members to send in their breeder info for the Breeder Directory. The July deadline stated in the Newsletter has been extended. Please PM or email me if you have any questions. Thanx!
