Good morning!! Question needing someone help with!! I have one little birchen hen but no roo to go with her. What color of roo would you use to breed her with. --Splash, Mottloed, or Blk--

These are the only standards I hatched this year that ended up pure. The rest were all mixes. I had a Welsummer Cockerel that went rogue and started jumping fences. I did end up with 2 beautiful pullets from the mix that are HUGE.

These boys are just 6 months old. The first 2 Black boys are forsale. The 3rd I am considering keeping. The Blue boy is a Cull that is also forsale. His Grandmother is 1/4 hatchery bird. That blood has given him those long tail feathers. All the black ones are in some stage of molting, but that is constant until they hit about 8 months old. These birds take so long to fully grow out it can be hard waiting to be sure what you want to keep.

JJ: He is molted his tail and cushion. He molting his head, neck, back, and chest about 2 months ago. Really slow molter. His full name is Jerry Jr. He is the son of a Cock(Jerry) I bought from Beth and Jerry Smith March 1st, 2008. JJ is just over a year old. I lost Jerry to the Summer heat in 2010. I keep very detailed records.

Nicolette and Twin2: T2 was hatched from eggs I got from Beth and Nicolette is the product of a Splash Cock from the Smith's and a Blue Hatchery hen. He shows no signs of the hatchery blood(comb was damaged a couple years ago), but any son will have tail feathers that are too long. Nicolette is 4.5 years old and T2 is 3.5. Smoke is obviously from Nicollete. T2 produced the 2nd and 3rd Black Cockerels above. The first is from T1 who is good quality, but not what I would call SQ.
