I always need more to work with. Or are these ones we talked about already and I would not want?

I am telling you, I think the last black Mottled pullet you brought me is terrific! Can't wait to see what she and Ranger make, not to mention the blue Mottled girls with him. I have added a few more girls to his pen since I took these photos last week.

I'm just now finding all these breed threads

My DD has a pen of pet quality bantam cochins for herself. Two mottled hens and little Red with black tail Roo. NOT sure if he's just a mixed color or not, but I do know he's a pure cochin.

Yesterday I drove out to PA and picked up a Pet Quality Trio of Bantam Barred Buff Cochins. I'm hoping to lay my hands on a Breed or SQ quality Buff hen/pullet to put under my Barred Roo.

I also brought home 3 GORGEOUS SQ White Bantam Cochins. THEY ARE GORGEOUS!! No boy for them yet, but I'm looking!

And due to arrive tomorrow, my first ever pair of Mille Fleur Cochins! I'm really excited about this pair!!

My DH and I are building a Bantam Duplex currently, and we're hoping to finish it up today. Mille Fleur Cochins in one side, and the whites in the other side.

Amy,

I WANT the little girl in the second pic on the right

OMG I

hope I get one like her. She may not be what everyone wants (show Q?/too much white???) but she is my fav......

Lynne, she is the same one in the above photo next to Ranger. She came from Nella Bean and and I am pleased with her. I do not mind the hysterical mottling on her but that does keep her from being what people would want on show birds. She has too much white tipping but I do not mind. I do not breed for showing but some of mine just wind up that way. You know I love the project work so she is in my project Mottled pen.
I love my other Mottled pen and know what I will get out of them. I have shown you many photos and of course, Charlie just showed us photos but this project is more of a challenge and makes breeding interesting. I like projects.

Oh, and Ranger's feet are not green. I know that photo on the roost looks like it. Don't know why but I had shown a photo of him from a few weeks before that shows his feet are not green. Pretty dirty maybe, since I always let my birds be birds and they live in tractors with fresh grass and dirt but I swear he has the correct color feet.

I think he is very handsome even though he doesn't have enough mottling.

Here is another photo of Stella. She still has some maturing to do yet, I believe but am already seeing her potential. Nella Bean has another girl that she was undecided about when selecting which one I could have but I am super pleased with this lady. Nella Bean is doing so well with her breeding Mottled pen I know where I want to go for more birds in the future! I can't wait to see what she produces this year from her flock and puts before the judges!

Hopefully you can find someone on here that has what you are looking for. There is also a list of breeders and what they are breeding in the Breeder/Hatchery section. Wish I could help you more.
I also encourage you to go to Cochin International for more information. There are others on this thread that can help you, I am sure.

I will be trying to figure out the new site format for quite some time. Cochins are laying hard. Way too early for me to try to hatch eggs. Asthma and chickens in the house would not mix well.

This my pair of Mille Fleur cochins! They just arrived this morning and are from Lynne!

My post master told me when I walked in to pick them up that he was crowing from inside the box, so they figured he was Ok. She said someone opened the door and the bell rang and he stopped crowing. She told me that every time he crowed they cracked up laughing.

I opened the box to see my new babies, and the post master and other postal workers all asked to see them. They were duly ooh'ed and ahh'ed over.

When I got them home out of the box, I found an egg in the bottom!!
