Any cochin breeders in IN? Im in Nashville, south of Indy.
I am so looking for a frizzle or two :) I have two blue cochin babies now, from McMurray - they are 13 days old - cute as they can be, and such sweet sweet babies. Im totally hooked..

A little calico pullet has been sitting on 6 eggs; 3 of them her's and 3 from my Blue Mottle girl. The Calico must have layed only 6 eggs before she went broody. I took the first few but she was determined to sit so I let her keep a few and added the other 3.

YAY!!! We want to see pictures!

Oh my gosh, I am so new to this, I didnt even know Bloomington hosted things like this.. I will look like a complete newbie there, but that sounds like so much fun! Do they sell chicks at these events?

I went to my first show last year and even though I wasn't there to show anything, I had a great time. They had lots of birds for sale, don't remember too many chicks though

I plan on going to the show in Bloomington, never know what you might find!!

I really hope the funds allow for a good show season this year. After being out for a few years im anxious to show again. Im not so much in it to win it as much as just the enjoyment of just doing it, and I really miss it. As long as I can afford it, I will be attending as many shows as I hear about within a few hr driving distance.

I reported it to the moderators last night and sent a VERY CLEAR PM about the issue to this person. Sorry that I got Shari upset about this but I had to be sure after the @55 claimed it was hers in a PM to me. I made it clear that behavior like that was unacceptable on the Cochin thread.

Thank you Casey

Wow. I can't believe they had the nerve to still claim it to be theirs after you called them on it! I reported it today too.

Are there any cochin breeders in PA? I am hoping to find some chicks. Thanks so much!!

Cochins are illegal to own in Pennsylvania.

No Wait! Just kidding - it was a rotten day at work! Check out the Breeders Directory in my sig line!

This is my bird and you had no permission to use my picture or claim her as your own! Shame on you!

Shari, so sorry this happened. There's always one bad apple. But just what do we have to do to hear from you more often?
