Sorry I have to agree with Mandy. The color of the ruff is also too light and the color pattern in general is wrong for a Partridge. Craig's birds are excellent examples of Partridge Cochins. You can see how deep the red is in the ruff and down the back to the saddle.
This is a picture of my Partridge roo:

thank you. I am trying this. She is a standard size I found out. YES - my other bantam took a few weeks to "hold her own" and I protected her and had her indoors at night for one week. She had arrived a hen pecked mess. She is doing GREAT. In fact. She sleeps in one house with one americauna. The other two americauna sleep together in the other house. I have the Cochin in the nice cage at night. But, I only put her in at night when they are sleeping. I want them to get used to her smell, etc.

To clarify - She came from same place and was raised with these chickens - it is just that I got the others a month ahead of her. I wanted another chicken and the owner gave her to me - knowing she will have a better life with my chickens than with hers - since the bantam is doing well.

I am prepared to have a house chicken if need be - in fact, I ordered diapers. BUT, only issue - I will be going back to work full-time in a month. So - I need this resolved by April 2nd.

Hmm.. this makes me wonder which of my chickens actually ARE Cochins, if any...Lol

Is this buff one a Cochin? Her comb has 5 points. The second pic, is her in the background. Does the red color one appear to be a Cochin?
