if you're referring to my question about telling self blue splits from non-splits, i know that 2 splits will produce 50% self blue and 50% black split to self blue. my question was, can you tell visibly a black (that doesn't carry self blue) from a black split for self blue? the 2 i have are supposedly split, but haven't started laying yet so i have no idea...
this is my bantam blue cochin pair I got from ideal poultry. I tried getting some shots were you could see the pullets color well, it's very nice, the lacing is like perfect. but I think she lacks in type, whereas the cockrel has better type, but his color isn't good, I don't think. They are around three months old. What do you think? Do any of you guys see any disqualifications?
