That's great! I hope you will keep us updated on your progress with them with pictures

Thank you! It's been a long hard process. I had almost given up till I got my first male last summer. I also had a terrible time finding any good GL's to work with. That's why it has been so hard getting the double lacing out of the females. Took me 3 years to find them, but finally picked up a beautiful pair at Crossroads

I thought it would be fitting if we take another look at Pam's wins at the 2012 Cochins International Western National, which was held in Sedalia, MO this past April:

God Bless and Keep You, Pam. We will miss you in the showhalls.

Thank you! It's my first year with cochin bantams, I ADORE the shuffle run! They are the first ones to run out of the coop and run up to me to say hello in the morning. They are 3.5 months old now, they seem to be feathering in okay. And the FEET! I think I'm addicted and want 30 more... :)

Give it time, wont take you long to get that many. Lol. For me, among other things, I love how they look pigeon toed when they stand still. These birds look amazing at 3.5 months old, honestly.

I have a question. At four weeks our Cochins still freak out anytime we come near the brooder. We have to chase them, it's crazy. Will they calm down?
