Cochin Thread!!!

I had posted some time back that I was worried because my Mottled hen was taking forever to feather out. Well, she is finally starting to look like a normal chicken, so I thought I would post a new photo of her. I tried to get photos of my black and buff, but they were running around like crazy. I still love my white roo, but since I've been letting him range, his feathers are yellowing.

She looks like a sweety. And what an interesting color combo.

I sold my mottled hen to a little girl who really really wanted her. I miss her but at least she has a good home.

Went back and read to catch up. Beautiful birds and great information.

My LF eggs from Bo Garrett hatched April 30 and here are a few pictures The eggs were from his Blue pens and I am really enjoying watching these birds develop. There are 14 that made it thru hatch. A few are black but we have some really nice dark blue with nice heads and fluffy butts

Does anyone have gold lace cochin eggs for sale?

Bantam or Large Fowl?

Most of us are having to hatch as many as possible and don't generally have eggs for sale. Dick Horstman often has Bantam GL eggs for sale. He is a BYC member so you can check the auctions, and he also advertises in Poultry Press.
