Ahhh I see. I purchased the hatching eggs as B/B Cochin, so I assumed that I was looking at Blue and Black. Now...I'm thinking maybe it meant Barred Black?

I just went and read the web site again....you are right, they are just barred. I got them as extras, just for something different. Obviously I did not pay attention. They are very cool =) Friendly..and I love the feathered feet. Are there Blue barred Cochins?

I wasn't expecting to like them, I was hatching some chicks for a friend and she just wanted a variety, so I ordered a variety. She left me with the Cochins and it turns out I really dig them.

I agree, out of all the different breeds we have had this year, the Cochins are my favorite...especially the little bantams!! They are just so precious and loving.

I hatched out black Cochins about a month ago but seems most are roosters, I was hoping for more hens
