Trying to figure out if this is a hen or rooster? Should be around 8 months. Our other 2 are already laying. This one is not laying yet and is cock-a-doodle-doodling in the morning. These are cross bread bantams.

Your picture and text are not showing for some reason, but if it is crowing in the morning I am willing to bet big bucks that it is a cockerel.

Hen or rooster? 6-8 month Bantem. No egg yet but cock-a-doodle-dooing.

Looks like a hen, but some rooster bantams are hen feathered, if it's really crowing I would say rooster, but some hens will sound like they're crowing if there are no roosters, so I guess I am no help at all, sorry

Looks like a pullet to me too. Are there any other culprits? Maybe that bird in the photo behind it?

Are you sure it's cock-a-doodle-doo, may it a loud bock bock, begock.
