Hey everyone,
Several weeks back when I inquired if I had cockerels in my brood because of how red the combs were so early, they've grown quite a bit... but the combs have stayed in proportion with their growth. Bigger, but not taller if that makes sense. Still thinking cockerel on both because of color but here they are at 8 weeks.
They're bigger than our bantams and also larger than chicks we've purchased at their 8 week size. The one I 100% know it's a hen for sure is included as well. Mama too. I'm sorry I couldn't get a good comb view, she's recuperating from being beat up by other hens and is super skittish currently but same shape as the alleged roos, which are probably roos.
