Cockerel with potential infection

Yes. I have lots of syringes, and such too. Very small ones.
If he were mine I would give the max dose which for his weight of 526 grams is 0.38 ml three times a day. Probably okay to round up to 0.4 ml.

Yes, orally. Tylan can cause injection site necrosis so I would give it orally.
Thank you so much. :bow:bow:bow
Also, @Kiki, thanks for asking!

Should I discontinue using the Tylan when the Baytril arrives.

Yes.
Hopefully the Tylan works quickly.
Remember in order for Tylan to work it really must be given 3 times a day.
If it's just not possible twice will do.

I'll be home for the next four days, so I'll be sure to do the 3 doses a day. He drank his first dose down like a champ, and I put him to bed. His crop is full, so he did eat a fair amount.

Is he going to sleep with the duck tonight?

He stays in her sleeping quarters during the day, and then I put him in a smaller kennel at night. I think she'd rip him a new one if she saw him in her bed.
She hangs with the rest of the call squad in the greenhouse during the day, and I let them out when I'm home. She refuses to sleep with those peasants, though.

526 grams. He is not able to stand. He tips over. His face is really swollen, but his wounds are clean.
I propped him up with towels around him so we can access food and water without tipping. That seems to work.
Can you get a picture of how his head now? I want to see the swelling.
