Cockerel with potential infection

The first one is about as in focus as I can get it. My phone is pretty crappy and does not take pics well up close. They get blurry if I get too close. I can try and take another one of the other eye if you want. Is there something that I should be looking for?

526 grams. He is not able to stand. He tips over. His face is really swollen, but his wounds are clean.
I propped him up with towels around him so we can access food and water without tipping. That seems to work.

Yes, that tipping seems like an inner ear problem. In people, sometimes it is vertigo, sometimes it's an inner ear infection. An antibiotic may well fix that....

Awww, he's so handsome! When they're sick don't ya just love 'em more? It works that way for me, anyway. I am always amazed by it because I love them so much!

Vertigo! Yes, it's like that. His legs work. Like when I lift him up, they go, but he has no balance when he hits the ground.
