Cockerel?!?

Is the chick a Dominique mix? I ask because of the rose comb. How old?

These are my Dom cross chicks. The males always show red in their combs early.

This is a male at a month old.

S(he) is a Dominique (dad) crossed with a red sex link (mom). My roosters comb was very big and red in comparison when he was about the same size!

I'm late to the party, but I'd like to add that there's a stage when pullets have hackle feathers with more lustre than the rest of them, and they can even appear almost pointy. Then they molt into their adult feathers. It's nearly tricked me a few times.

Along with everyone else, I thought it was a cockerel when you posted the thread at 6 weeks, and I still feel like I'm seeing a cockerel now that it's a bit older, however I've never owned this breed before so listen to everyone else who are saying it's a pullet now. I would really appreciate you letting me know how it turns out, I'm still learning a lot about different breeds :)
