Cockerels 8 weeks crowing?

Wow sort of surprised me! Is this common?

It's not super common, but I guess it can happen! What breed are they? Some breeds start crowing much earlier than others.

Mine started crowing at 11 weeks and he never shuts up.He can't go 15 minutes without letting out cocka doodle doo.He sleeps maybe 4 hours starts crowing 4 am stops at midnight .He is 9 months old now and he is driving me nuts.

They are olive eggers. Only 2 out of 6 are doing it. It's only a couple of times a day, not crazy loud yet either.

I've seen Bantam Cochins do this at less than a month old. It's the silliest thing in the world to see a fuzzy little chick stretch his neck up and let loose with what sounds more like a giggle than anything else.

I saw a video of somebody who knew she had a cockerel at a week old when one of her chicks threw back his head and did his best baby crow. It was the most addable little thing I've ever seen.

I have 6 cockerels out of 8 chicks. 4 will be going away one way or another. Anyone want one or 4? Lol

I had a la fleche start at 6 weeks. It sounded exactly like my deaf english bulldog barking but at half volume lol
