Have a very old style Popcorn popper.
I have a gas stove it is a stainless pot with a wand that keeps popcorn moving, lid has clamps it is 22 years old they still make reproductions of it.
Actually made me want some so made it.
Here are some things that helped me lose weight, because I also eat when stressed, depressed, or bored.I eat when i am stressed or depressed. Mostly at night. Thinking of trying diet pills.

Eat some unsweetened dried fruit. Drink a glass of water. The fruit swells and makes you feel fuller.
Do something else that gets you away from food for 20-30 minutes. Take a shower, go for a walk, fold some laundry, clean the bathroom. Something that breaks the "I wanna eat. I wanna eat." drone in your head.
Find things to do that take both hands so you can't eat while you do it. Like your pottery.Or knitting, crocheting, origami.
