In case you didn't know, beans MUST be pressure canned. It requires a pressure canner, not just a pressure cooker, like an Instant Pot.

Get a book on canning, it will have all the info you need. Ball (the company that makes canning jars) has several canning books. We talk about canning a lot in the garden thread.

Green beans are a good candidate for freezing, too. Less work, and I like the flavor/texture better.
Our freezer is overfull. Yeah, i have a canning book and i think hubby bought a pressure cooker. I also have a neighbor that cans, i am sure she will give me pointers.

The best way to learn! Be her apprentice for an afternoon. :)
Pickled beans can be done in a boiling water bath. Love the garlic/dill ones.
Pickled anything can be water bath canned. The acid gets rid of the need for pressure canning.

I LOVE!!! pickled beans!

Me too but best part the hospital called to see if I was well today.
I love the hospital here world class and great doctors.
You are very lucky!!!! I don’t hear anything good about the closest one to us. I guess it’s pretty good at giving out Covid infections, so there’s that! :gig
