Afternoon all.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Been pretty down about losing my pet birds and the farm has been keeping us busy. Still think about y'all every morning as I hastily guzzle down my two cups of coffee and dash out to harvest and split wood.

Always a pot of hot coffee around here for those who wish to imbibe! Enjoy!

Did y'all use all the wood from under that shed you've shown?

No shed, Pert, 32x32 foot barn with full loft and we used about slightly less than half of what we had harvested last year. Figure we had about 15 cords. Working now to replace what we have used. We still have 4 dead standing trees to drop and harvest. Then split.

We still love doing this job but we notice that we are working a little slower as the years go by. And getting a little more tired not to mention a little sorer.

Doctor was worried that I wasn't getting enough weight bearing exercise for my osteo. Then I told him about hauling 2 20 gallon water jugs full of water up hill to take care of my chickens, walking over 200 feet to do that, then there is the wood harvesting. Not bad for turning 70 this year. His eyes got big. He said it wasn't bad for a 50 year old and said I was doing a farmer's workout. I came home and looked it up. It really does exist.

Yeah, i do the farmer work out too. I removed a Mule load of bedding from one of the goat stalls tonight, after it cooled down out there. And then collected rocks to put along the rabbit fence in the flower garen. And unloaded them.
My jaw is still painful with the TMJ, i have never had it last this long. Already saw 2 doctors and a dentist, without getting to feel any better. Frustrating.

We all do manual work I think feed bags are 50 lbs bought 20 cement cinder blocks today
Have to unload pot them with the foot print of the new coop where it has been moved to.
they will have concrete in each side to keep the rodents out crossing fingers
worked in the main new coop so far.
