I get $75 each for Tolbunt polish pullets. I sold out of them at the big swap.

How old are they when you sell?
Did you hatch them?

Some of them are heterozygous, so you can get frizzles from birds that don't look frizzled, I believe.

They are generally around 5 or 6 months. Yes, I hatch them. I was so pleased to hear people remarking at the swap how nice my birds are. I do a fair amount of advertising, hand out business cards and promote my birds on Facebook.
I recently got 2 trios of Seramas to add to my breeds. And I got some Buff Laced Polish and Jubilee Orpington chicks, so next year I will be selling those.
I don't have a paying job any more, so the birds keep me busy.

When my arthritis kicks in, I take it as a signal that it would be a good time for a nap. Getting horizontal takes the pressure off the knees. Taking a nap recharges the batteries.
