That is sad, when your kids don't know you. At least you got something, even if it was thoughtless.

Kids are different these days. Even though we brought them up right it doesn't mean they kept that part of their education.

For example I live a hour and fifteen minutes from my daughter and she never calls. We have to call her. She never comes down to visit, so we have to go there to visit.
 
My son gave us our Christmas presents when he was here. It makes me sad to see what he got us. I don't expect them to spend big money, but come on! Get me anything with goats and I will be content. It's not that difficult.
What did presents did they get you?
Wasn't their 'presence' enough?
