Sorry to read about you losing Rascal. You lost him shortly before I lost Ben.
However, I'll always have a dog. I adopted Bella 6 weeks ago. She became instantly enamored of my 17.5 year old 6.5 pound cat. The cat doesn't share her feelings.

Well if the cat is outside some day and runs into trouble I bet Bella would save her. Cats are too finicky.

Sheesh, microchick. I'm glad you came out unscathed! How did the boys fair? Our oldest boys dog starts nonsense every couple weeks or so. I swear he has a bad day and let's loose
