There was a really fat squirrel by the bird feeder this morning. I suggested inviting it for dinner, but the Princess nixed the idea.

Haha. One of the boys is fat. There are acorns everywhere here. We rehabbed them from 5 or 6 weeks until a few weeks ago. I'm amazed they're still friendly.

I've been feeding Danny, the young gray squirrel. He doesn't get near me, and I don't get near him. Keeps us both happy. He is afraid of squirrels also, even though four that look identical to him - rush around chasing each other (but not him) and take off. I think maybe he was a special needs squirrel and is trying to make it on his own.

The other squirrels don't even eat the food I put out for him. Danny mainly spills most of his food on the ground which prompts a visit from an opossum -
