My decent 'neighbors' are old country. Meaning they've been here a while and grew up country and taking care of each other.

Swap food, ride share, shop for each other, pull calves, chase cattle and horses, repair fencing, shoot something...here for each other.

Those sound like the way I was brought up. It is nice to see or hear that it is still happening.

I fixed Turkey Hash for dinner tonight.

It was soooooo good. We only fix it around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ohhhhhhhh, may I ask for that recipe, when time is on your side?
I want to try my hand at a "trusted hash recipe" and not blindly from a website... It's honestly been a good 2 decades plus since I've made any....

My dinner was a leftover mixup.
Tortulini, pasta sauce, hard boiled eggs sliced up & black olives.... Still have to solve the honest veggie side.... (Smirks)

I have a friend that has a flower farm and she spends a week before thanksgiving until a week before Christmas eve making and selling fancy wreaths. She lets me come over and make a wreath, which I give away to a local 90 year old couple every year.

I did a jar of Bertoli sauce and pasta with meatballs tonight . The meatballs where made from recipe I was given
