Coffee grounds underneath straw bedding

Would anybody be able to comment on whether or not I could use coffee grounds underneath straw bedding in my chicken coop and run to provide for better compost material and improve the overall aroma of the coop?

It’s a dirt one with buried hardware cloth. I’ve been using the dried grounds. It’s really nice. I get the grounds for free. My cooo smells like a coffee roasting room.

I have a dirt floor too and I get lots of grounds for free that I toss in. If I had a close store that sold the dry grounds I'd probably get it to try.
