Good morning everyone.
I know its rather late,but when Iwent out
this morning to feed my pets.Iwas missing my cute
little blu cochin, feathers all over the run
,so I was tearing up all her hiding spots. no luck
with all the trees coming down yesterday I thought
the noise frighten her to run, but We still havent found her.
So now I sit with my coffee

and glad the sun is out We had the heat on last night .Brrrr
I also got a lot done, poor cuddles.
I think critters got to her

Good morning everyone. I cannot believe how dark it is in the morning now. When I get up now, it is cold and dark, I can't believe it is already October 2nd.

It is going to be a wet cold weekend, soccer is going to be so much fun! I have so much fall cleanup to do, I don't know when I am going to get the chance.

Sissy, sorry about your little bird. I hate predators!

I was sitting here, when all of a sudden I heard a chicken outside. Well last night, we got home late from soccer and it was already dark out. I went to close up the coop, couldn't really see because it was so dark and just assumed they were all in. Now as soon as it got light, little graycie was out there making so much noise, I am sure she woke up every predator within a half mile. I have no idea why she didn't go back to the coop with everyone else.

Good morning , all you chicken lovers.
Wake up the day is begining but tis cloudy and cool it looks like putting the heat on is a no brainer. Iam warm and toasty.with my first cup of coffee. It looks a little cloudy. and the temps have been down to the 40*s my plans today will be
Laundry, Clean the frig,and add more wood shaving
to all the pens.so my pets will be cosy and warm.
make it a good day. and enjoy what ever you get to done.

It rainy here again today, and much cooler. I can't stand it being dark outside when I get up. I usually like being up in the early morning.

its a lttle cloudy here but we have had our share of rain
this year.and now chilly. we turned the heat on yesterday. ol man winter I think will be here too early.

Good morning everyone. Having the last cup, pot is dry, and it is still dark here. I do have a 56 temp. this morning. That sure feels good to me after getting up to 100 or more in the morning. Alas, winter in the desert.

I am excited to get the kids play house scrubbed and put together, so that I can get it ready for two Cochin hens, I so want to get. It does seem like all is coming together. I looked on CL, found one, price was right. As soon as I sent my Phone #. My phone rang, It was the lady that placed the ad. I told her I wanted it. I picked it up yesterday.

It was meant to be. LOL!

Morning Chicken Wranglers,
Been busy.Had a lot of hot work all week. I hope to get work done on the farm this week end. Need to set up a new pasture for oct -dec graze for the cows and horses.Itll work out if it does'nt snow too hard. I let the grass grow on those two acres for the last month. I need to get a few bales of hay for dec -march put up and ready. Canning is over and winter work begins!
