Good morning everyone! I actually slept in until 9!!! I can't believe it! I'm usually up waaaay earlier, but oh well! I guess I was tired. I just put on a pot of Chase and Sanborn. We were at Wegman's last week and got some Chocolate Raspberry coffee
but I only have a little left, so maybe I'll put that on later.
Scoop - It is funny to see how different today's cars are from "yesterday's" cars. I went to high school with a kid that collected station wagons. I hope your son has a blast with it!!!My DH has an OLD time race car, it's a 1937 Ford. It was actually my dad's but my brothers aren't interested in it. So now, we just found out that there is a race track being made about 5 miles away from us that is specifically for the old time cars to run on. Pretty neat. I'm just sad that my Dad won't be able to enjoy it. There aren't really many places that you can take the old cars out.
Sissy - I agree with karl, maybe a trail cam would be a good idea. 25 eggs seems like a lot if the hens are eating them.
I have seen 2 of my hens eat eggs that were broken, which really ticks me off, so I definitely need to keep an eye on that situation.
karl - that's neat about the goose taking to the ducklings. Just as long as you don't get hurt!
I think we'll be headed out to the auction later. I have an appointment at the post office today at noon to get my passport so I have to get my butt in gear. I have chicks hatching out like popcorn in my bator - 9 hatched overnight and 2 more are hatching out! I've never had more than 3 hatch at a time, so this is unchartered territory for me! I made a few changes in the way I incubate, and apparently it's working. No more hand turning for me!
Have a good day, everyone!!!
