And a good morning to all my Flock tender Friends
enjoying my first cup of coffee for this morning. and enjoying every drop .
I sure have been busy and no time to get to the coffee bar
for a good morning with you. Rain been going on here for the last 2 days but before it came,
I got to clean up a lot, have to do more today getting plywood
for the over sized coop and divideing it into 2 coops. need more
room and dont want to add on anymore.silkies are doing great
and 7 months old but not an 1 egg yet. whats with these beautys

Waiting for my orps to hatch also some Banty cochins.

So thats it for a while for me unless the Call duck gets to me

I have been looking at them and they seem to say Come and get me
I wish I knew of an auction out this way ...

Sissy looks like you got your work going on.Kismet I appreciate the advice but I have a hot wire about 3/4 of the way up and now barbed wire on the top so I hope it is enough. I'm going home early to plant corn, onions, beans, and carrots today. If there is time I'll start a pen for the ducklings on one side of the pond.Y'all have a great day God Bless!

Oh you guys and your ducks! I wish I could get some! TSC has them and it is so hard to just look at them! Ugh! I'm drinking chocolate coffee once again. The plain stuff is getting to me! Check out this neat sign. Remember when coffee cups were small? Ha! Ha! Now we drink 20 oz or more at a time!

I've another picture but I'll post it another time. Enjoy your coffee everyone and don't forget to smell the roses!

I started the days with foldgers and I will end it with beer,,,, again.But on a good note the beer diet is working /I am down 12#'s and still losing.Hurray!

Welcome St-Hubert! I am just about to go pour a second cup. The first tasted so good today - I wondered what I had done differently. The sun is pouring in and I just finished moving all the seedlings out to the screened porch for some fresh air.

Karl - congratulations on that 12 lbs! Keep up the good work. Moderation in all things is the key. That means don't fore go a beer at the end of the day!
Hey, you said that you put your beans in already? You are in Illinois, right? Isn't it still too cold? I think of Illinois having the same climate as in N.H. I have cole crops and peas, lettuce in, but I always wait until mid-May for my beans. The cold soil rots them oftentimes than not.

Good morning! I have a day off, again! I returned to work for one day yesterday, and today is my regularly scheduled day off. Aaaah. Yesterday was "nuts" at work. Yes, I had to say it. I am a Psych nurse and I work at the state hospital. Usually my days are fine, but one of the guys must be cheeking his meds and he got violent with another patient. My other half at work got blood squirted into her eye so she had to go to the ER. So I have to say that I do cherish my days off!

I caught my 9 year old DD in a lie yesterday - she said was going somewhere with her friend and her friends mother... Well, my other DD's friend called and asked why my 9 year old was at a park with two of her friends, and no mother? HUH? So, 9 year old DD is grounded AGAIN forever. I mean forever. She threw a temper tantrum and said she wanted to run away yesterday. So fast forward to this morning - she wrote me an apology note and brought me breakfast in bed, and fresh brewed coffee. She makes really good coffee, so I am sitting back and enjoying it. Plus no temper tantrums or violent patients this morning!!!

Just me and the computer right now. DH and I are going out to lunch later on.

After that, I want to finish cleaning out my flower bed. I started clearing them out awhile ago, but they're on the side of the house that I don't usually go to and forgot about them. I think DH and I may try to plant potatoes today, but we never had potatoes before so I want to do a little more research on how to plant them. We will be planting our corn in another few weeks, but I wish I could plant it now.

Kismet no beens just corn and potatos so far,perhaps more stuff this week end. I would like to get the carrots and stuff in if possible beans mid may i think.Iusually have a couple brews for supper everynight on this special diet.Everyone have a great weekend God bless!

Finally Friday.....I love my job, but I always like it when Friday shows up. Means I'll have two days to get the important stuff done.

It is Friday alright and that is great. I can finish my second coop this weekend. The 22 birds in the brooder or starting to wear me out, they are about 6 weeks now and ready for the coop!! Any way TGIF and have a great weekend all you chicken people!!
