I am a state certified high school mathematics teacher. I am off on six leave and Family medical leave act until Jan. So, I thought I would take a class that would count towards renewing my teaching certificate and would boost my math skills. I am taking a basic statistics class. My statistics is over 20 years old and unesed during that time. I really could use a refresher !

Good Food - - -I picked up the ingredients to make meat loaf one night and beef stroganoff another night. Not way exciting, just good ole comfort food.

Good morning chickreen wranglers
What beautiful children! I would be proud as I am sure you two are.I am also very glad that my youngest is five and I am not in the baby stage anymore.
Believe me 51 is a little old even for the five year old, and put as hold on the yer only as old as you feel replies cause a five year old can make you feel old by the end of the day.
I haven't caught the varment that got 5 of my chickens yet,but he hasn't been back yet either. just bide my time and set my traps.
Math ace good jobkeep the ball rollin ,But it never gets completed does it!
Whispering winds, hope the gs is good.I also am in Il. and I hope to take the afternoon off to be with my wife alone in the pool!

My girls were 5 - 6 months old. You still have a few more weeks to go. You are starting to sound like rancher hicks and osedog with their newest editions. Are you pacing in front of the chicken coop yet? ? Make sure you posts pictures "RIGHT HERE" on this thread when you get your first marans egg. You will be just as delighted (maybe a little less delighted) as rancher hicks ans osedog were over their newest edition - - -

If I did this chicken math - - - I would not be born yet. I like the concept.

Mornign folks, been up since 6:30 but can't get it in gear. Checking the news on Yahoo and answering a few postings for newbies. I only can follow so many postings but sdwd and coffee are at the top.

Karl good to see you again thought we lost you.

Oesdog, one day at a time.

tigerlily: It's been said "into every life some roos must fall" or something like that. Carry on.

Math: what can I say. My last class was a statistics class and I took it by itself. Failed the first two tests and finished with a c+. don't ask me how. I'm sure you'll do better.

Anyone I missed I hope you have a good day.

Got lots to accomplish and take Darcy and Mom to her first doc appt. I think I made a mistake letting DD and SIL stay with us. We've agreed on a year but I've let myself in for a heartbreak I'm sure when the year ends. Good garden o' peas! Why am I so stupid?

Well have a nice day folks.

Love ya Rancher

Rain, Rain, Rain, MUGGY, Hot, muddy and we have mosquitoes that need to file flight plans!
So,... basically normal for August in coastal Louisiana!

I so look forward to October,.. it's when we usually get that first day with a promise of relief!

Morning People,
All I have to say, I started with the beans, it looks like coffee, smells like coffee.........I wonder what part of the plant it came from. Plenty to share......

Weather: Low to mid 90's, clear. Woke to 72degs, hazy

Math Ace: I think it is always good to keep the gray matter in shape. I hate to say it, schooling and I don't get along, never have. The majority of my education has been self taught, reading etc.
beef stroganoff: have you tried it with other meat, yea it wont be call "beef" stronganoff. I have used geese, venison and lamb.

Chics in the Sun: using your formula, I have to get more pets.............

Karl E Lutz: We use peanut butter with the traps. Worked for us.

Whispering Winds: We have a saying, goes something like this: It's good to have them come, but it's better when they leave (our kids).
I'm taking a trip down a gang plank (just joking): I leave in a household full of women......... any sympathy from my fellow men????

Fresh granola is done, grab it while you can.

Enjoy the day

Kaj

Good morning all!
I woke up at 4:00 definately good strong coffee today. Getting the kids off on the bus shortly. Then animal chores and watering trees and garden, some house cleaning and canning beans. It is gonna be another 90 degree day... I can not wait untill fall. It will be a very welcomed change.

Hope everyone has a great day.

We all seem to be looking for the change of the season. Well I am not welcoming winter and fall is the gatreway to that difficilt time of year. Snow, ice, cold, hunting ,hunting, more hunting. Iguess it will be ok.
Ladies dont fret about age it comes as an unwelcome guest and settles in as your bones get brittle and your joints get stiff.
But everyday above the grass is a good day drink up the java! God bless.
Tono. How are your days going ?We are praying!
