Coffee's ready...

WOW! That looks GREAT! How many people does it sleep? What is the make/ model? Just keep in mind - the larger the Camper, the higher the gas bill, which can really add up if you are going long distances.

Yeah I know - if it was just DH and I, I think this one would be great. But - well it wouldn;t be big enough for Danny and we would be pushing it to get Jessica in as we would need to use the pull out double bed above the cab. You can make up a double behind the drivers seat too, you have to fiddle a bit with it and its short but in theory should sleep two more there. I don't thinks it would fit DH as he is long. If we want to go to europe I think we would need a bigger van with a shower and toilet. If we were to take Dan space is essential and washing facilities too. It is hard work cleaning Dan in a small place and then I have to think wheelchair etc too. I would like to take him camping again at somepoint but we need a bigger Van for that. If we are just hopping to Scotland to see Dhs sister then this one is fine. I just wonder what we would get for it now its done up and if we would make any money????

We love another van we saw which was 5 berth but didn;t have the funds so we thought we would get this and do it up and see where we go from here. I think she looks wonderful and Dh has done great but now she is finished and I think he wants a bigger project over the winter months. There is a fellow who wants to swap a 5 berth for a small camper??? So thats why we were thinking about it. This Van is lovely though and you can get a big awning to clip on. We also have loads of tents too.

Anyhow better go glad you liked her. - she is a Citroen leisure DH just informed me!!! 1980s - not new!!!!!

Morning People,
Breakfast special today: lamb meatballs & grilled cheese sandwiches...... french roast coffee.

Weather: woke up to rain, 50 degs. Today: Chance of showers, mid to upper 60's

The pond and stream are full which is good to say. I hope we do get a bit of dry weather so I can turn the garden under. It's hard to do it in the spring. You really can't get into the garden till the early part of May.

Shop day today.

The ladies here have a new chant: "What do we want? A chicken coop. When do we want it? NOW!"
So I guess this will be my next week project, to finish off the Bean D'ville.

Enjoy the day

meatballs are all gone..........

Good Morning - I 'm at work today. My son was a terror this morning, and I woke up with a sore throat and some conjestion, so we'll see if I make it the whole day. Just realized I missed a training yesterday afternoon. I'll have to see if I can make that up.

Rancher, your wife is a lucky woman, indeed. How are you coming with the incubator project?

It is 60 degrees this morning - I don't remeber it ever being that cold this early. And here the babies are hatching any day! Hopefully Mama will keep them warm enough. I had a terrible nightmare last night that the babies hatched and they were really small, and the big girls got in the brooder cage and ate them - swallowed them like they were bugs!! I was freaking out, chasing them all around the yard to catch them and save the babies! In reality, no movement or peeping yet. Tomorrow is day 21 (around 2pm, anyway)

Well, I've got a million things to do since I missed two days, of course. Gotta go. Coffee is kicking in, time to work.

Afternoon everyone, I am still here lying on the couch with my leg up, I have been a VERY good girl and hopefully when i go to the doctors tomorrow she will tell me I am allowed to get off the couch and go see my animals, i miss them so much!!

It is very wet here today and I am having my coffee along with some white chocolate.
