I do understand folks about the sids and pillows and all that but it's not a common thing and I'm old so I do know a few things and I'm not going to be a worry wort. If I haven't died of sids by now or smoothered on a pillow I doubt I'm going to at my age. Truth is I"m a light sleeper and I was not asleep when DD took the picture, but I didn't want to ruin the shot for her. Please don't tell her. I have bells on the doors so if anyone comes in I hear it.

As for sids I think we've been to medianized and some things have been sensationalized. Darcy is fine. Don't worry, I'm an old man and read and know more than any man is expected to about babies.

Take care gotta go do some dishes and vaccum before DW gets back from her overnight.

Good morning chicken wranglers,

my chicks from Cheryl are growing like weeds! I'm gonna have to figure out how old they are... I'm not good at keeping track of time...

Today, I have to drive DH to get his thyroid ultrasound; one of those "just in case" tests. He's been tested about 5 years ago and the doc thinks it's time for a recheck. He has "hot nodules" (sounds kinda kinky, if you ask me) and they need to make sure they haven't grown or something.

And of course, when we scheduled the appointment for "sometime in the future" we didn't know today would be the day I have to present the prototype for the app I'm working on. Ugh. Oh well. It's ready. I even went to bed at a decent time last night - of course I couldn't sleep though. So I got up and did some documentation work for the app, then I could go back to bed and eventually sleep.

So, I'm draggin' this a.m.

Good Morning! I'm sleepy today, trying to get back into the swing of things after my week off. Also a bit stiff and have little cuts from working with the chicken wire. I did finish the coop addition, though. I didn't line up quite right with the original coop wall (more of a frame, really), but I made it work. It's just a coop, the chickens don't care. I haven't seen any of them use the extra space yet.
I'll refrain from discussing our weather here. It would just seem rude.....

Tyring to work on documentation today. A bit behind. Gotta get going and type, type, type.

Annaraven - my chicks are growing like weeds, too. I'll get another pic of the Blue Plymouth Rock- she is SO CHUBBY! She looks like a ball of feathers with feet.
