Sometimes things like that sneak up on us, Karl. Hang in there.

I have one little chick bouncing around the incubator. It hatched around dinner time. I thought I saw another one with a pip, but it has rolled now and I can't see anything. Hope a few more make it out!!

I remembered my coffee this morning, so things are off to a much better start. Time to get busy, though - I have a million things to do today.

The little one is latching really well.I'm releved,now I can go back to being an insencetive guy again ya know like a regular guy.1 more calf to go and I pray that it is uneventful so I can stay insensitive! God Bless!

Good morning people,
Our meaties arrived yesterday. 52 of them in the brooder box.

More rain is expected today, we have received approximately 4" since Sunday. It has rained every day since Sunday. It doesn't look like I can plant in the garden till mid June. It's a giant mud hole.

Splitting wood today.

Oesdog the wussy's shall inherit the earth,The little one was hoppin and buckin last night, Glad the prauer line is intact.Q the meaties are in at my house also.I do tha cornish rocks and they are great freezer stock but I still say they poop more then they eat.We also got 2 new geese and 4 new ducks can't wait to put them on the pond.
O say a prayer I've still one more to go and I've lost enough this season.

I went to a chiropractor and a regular md doctor yesterday over my extremely sore and stiff neck......

The result is I pulled a muscle in my neck. The doctor gave me some muscle relaxers and I got my first night of decemt
sleep last night.. . . I haven't been able to sleep all week.


I think I will be catching up on sleep today and maybe doing light stuff around the house ( ie paper work)

Good morning chicken wranglers
The week is on! New calf yesterday,watched it be born from the house,ran out to look and it,s head was under it's body I straightened it out and that was the last time the momma let me near the calf.She has been on her feet a couple timesI haven't seen her nurse yet but I'm sure she will.Isaw the momma run other cows away from the babby and she was one of the more docile cows I have.Females are so unpredictable.Have a great day God Bless!
