Good morning chicken wranglers'
Oesdog,you know I was only jesting.Your present plight's sound awfully trying and I hope all ends well for you in the near future.If not close your eyes and dream of your holiday in spain while you sip your coffee and gin.that won't change anything but perhaps it will soften the mood.
The rest of you get on here and post so we know of your challenges and daily trials,or perhaps triumphs!

Karl: me too. Hope I can beat it. 1º today 10º in the coop. my little 7 watt heater did keep the water wet and from freezing even on the top.
Going to city hall. seems that even after checking with my councilor we still got it wrong and I do need a permit for the girls. also the evaluation on my garden lot went from 6000 to 60,000 and it isn't even buildable due to size.
Hope all is well with the rest of you chicken lovers.

looks empty. but Istill made a full pot so

stay warm we are having 19-32 weather hung
40 watt bulb in the coops so my silkies have it nice and cozy..
oh and my ear flap cap is sure coming in handy

Karl, it may sound icky
but as a kid mom rubbed vicks on our neck n chest
we had chest congestion...
I still use it for my sinas
under my neck helps to breath,
and the chicken soup is the
best for anything that ails you. get well.

Hay Sissy I am here - see waving from the both in the corner!!!!!!!!! With the big mug of coffee in my hand!!!!
Was a little late as had to go do some shopping and stuff for DH. Got a big mug out in the the garden centre and a nice sausage roll!!!! Oooops don't tell the weight thread!!

Anyhow managed to get Danny some more T shirts and a few winter Jumpers which will keep the boy going a while.
Ben didn;t burn the bungalow dawn so he IS NOT STAYING WITH ME - There is a God!!!!!! DH is away to clean his chimeny for him so hope that solves the problem and he wont set the place on fire again!!

Weather here is cold cold cold - I got mysel a nice wee 1920 style bonnet this morning all dark brown felt love it!!!! So I am a happy bunny. At least my head doesn;t change size unlike the rest of me.

Karl I do hope your feeling better DH has MAN FLU!
