Had cataract surgery today. Not fun, but not as bad as my runaway imagination had created. Slight post operative irritation and a major blizzard in front of my left eye - surely both will improve.

Thanks, Rancher, yours have been added to mine. I was concerned about the 'fog' in the operative eye and mentioned that fact to the Princess. She said, "Don't you remember that they told you your vision would be blurry for up to 48 hours?" Nope, I missed that part. Maybe the Valium really did affect me.

As you may or may not know I take hot water out to the chickens in the cold weather.

I've been seeing lots of Rabbit tracks which makes me feel good about the fox situation. There are tracks leading under the coop again. Though it does have to climb other the snow.

What do you get when you pour hot water down a rabbit hole? A hot crossed bunny.

Tomorrow is Valentines day don't forget.

Every year I get a card from my ex wife. It says Happy Independance day.

She once sent me a card that said, "What's the difference between a calendar and you". Inside it said "A calendar has a date on Valentines day". I can't tell you how they were signed.

My comment wasn't so much for those here, but we see folks on the news and politicians saying such stuff.

Last night I left an apple pie in it's box on the counter. A hungry mouse (didn't know that he was here) chewed a hole into the box and sampled the pie. If you stretched your imagination a bit the hole looked like an upside down heart. Told the Princess that this was her special Valentine's day present. She failed to see the humor in that.

Thankfully I had a card and candy for her.
