Rough nite .. Rough morning ..

Loggers .. just doing what they do
DH .. tripping out at the mess
Me .. Trying to calm DH down and keep loggers from quitting

I need a shot of tequila ....

Twenty five years ago our hunting lease was logged and the mess the loggers left behind was horrible. Tree tops and big ruts everywhere. Two years ago it was logged again but this time it was a different company and a much cleaner situation left behind. It's unfortunate that there weren't any mule loggers working in this area. Mules or horses have much less impact on the woods than machinery.

I know these guys (from a previous life ..

) and they are doing the best they can .. they know we want little impact .. but those trees have to come down somehwere .. and the house site and pasture site have to be cleared, ya know?

It's all perspective .. I've seen some ugly messes .. I thought it looked ok .. DH needed a valium .. lol.
