Coffee's ready...

Morning People,

@rngrbill - That's great about your better half. Couple of days in rehab and then back to chasing you around.

We are in a little pocket that weren't really hit hard with the storm. We might have received 4" and that is pushing it. Albany (hour north) 6 - 8", Pittsfield, Ma (north east) 8 - 10" of snow. It was cold, but that wind............ I think if you spit, it would freeze by the time it hit the ground or sail away and knock something down.

Oh sure snowstorm. We're just on the edge so it's been good. I think the cold is the worst. Chickens are laughing everytime I look in the nest boxes. "You want us to lay in this freezing cold? Are you crazy? Lay your own darn eggs fool!".

I have some very disrespectful chickens.

I have been getting that look like from our chickens when I go to let them out: - "You live in a barn? SHUT THE DOOR!!!!! "

Enjoy your day,

Kaj

Here's something to bore you people..............

The never ever completed shed. No I am not a soda fan, but I love the graphics

Hanging out at the food bar ( bird feeder)

Coopers Hawk

Enjoy

Nice looking hawk, and nice looking Coke sign. That's truly a timeless graphic design.

I enjoy them, this one I found at a local dump. Many good things can come from there............ I have a few in my shop, but the cost of them is getting outrages. Even the repros are a little crazy in price.

Doesnt it do anything to your girls??

This hawk is rather small. Little stockier(?) then a crow and maybe the same height as one. Mostly goes after the song birds that come to the feeder. As far as the chickens, I don't think they would even concern themselves with it. We have red tails around here that are way bigger, but never mess with the hens. You know when one is around, hens are in the coop and mr. roo staring up into a tree. Mr. roo is bigger then the red tails around, not by much, but....... I'm not worry.

Enjoy your day
