Morning all, cloudy weather today, think we will get the rain predicted. I love sunshine, wakes me up so I am sleepy this am.

Have two appraisals to do after getting DS off to school, and then possibly have to work at the grocery store this afternoon for 4 hours if the other worker's back isn't any better. Don't mind as I love messing with groceries and checking people out. I am not a real people person, but I can walk the walk and talk the talk!!!

Little grandson that just got out of Children's Hospital is doing fine, sore bottom from the antibiotics, but God is good and he is coming along fine. So scary when they are so tiny (5 weeks) and can't tell where it hurts!! Doctors decided it was a virus

and pneumonia.

Good morning. Wish I had more coffee - only had what I brough in the travel mug, and it's just not enough. I am on hold with tech support, as I can't log in or send or recieve any e-mails through the work system, which would make my day fairly easy and quiet. They just tried to transfer me to the person I am supposed to speak with and hung up on me after being on hold for 10 minutels

Had a nice dinner and cake last night, kinda glad it's over and I can go back to not paying much attention to how hold I am.

Math Ace - I meant to tell you I saw the pics of your Marans roo on the other thread, and he's GORGEOUS. Maybe he could come to St.Pete for a little fling with my girls, breed a few more Marans and some EE's and Olive Eggers.

Whispering Winds- hope your grandson is doing better - that is so scary when they are tiny and get sick.

Good Morning-Im here too but thats because I woke up too soon and cant sleep, oh well time to talk to all of you and read everything going on -should I start coffee or try to go back to bed

, another thunderstorm just rolled up and its suppose to rain all day with a chance of flooding so I would say the day is pretty much a wash out

Morning People,
Coffee's on, egg, cheese and red pepper omelet for breakfast.

weather: low - mid 90's; clear. woke up to 68deg and haze - suppose to break tonight.

The last crop of the season for beans are just about ready to pick. It's going to be the best crop this year for beans. The ole garden has that look like it's about ready to shut down for the year.

We are going to see our little rat in a week.

OK, I am done with my rant. . . .. I only have access to meats from the grocery store. So venison and geese are not possible. As for lamb, my Dh does not like the flavor and it is normally more expensive than just plain beef. We live in the country, but we don't hunt. We embrace gardening, chicken wrangling, and homemarde meals from scratch . . . ., but we don't hunt.
We have friends who hunt and every once a while they throw a little BAMBI our way. The family eats it without any complaints. We just don'tget it too often.

Math Ace: I was recently educated on this tip: at the end of hunting season, go around to all the deer processors and ask to be put on the list for orders that are not picked up. For only the normal processing fee, we acquired 2 deer. Didn't have a choice on cuts, but hey! It's also a great way to judge what processors in the area I like the best.
