I was busy with the usual teenager, job and contractor, this morning. Just now got a chance to look at this thread.

After lunch I have to unload the new furniture for my living room from my pickup. And pick up the teenager from school. Ugh. It never ends... I will be so so SO glad when he's done with highschool. I'm almost wishing he would join the military just to be sure he leaves for a while after highschool... I'm getting tired of his nonsense.

Or maybe I'm just [rhymes with witchy] today.

Karl, A happy birthday to your wife. She is not old just the perfect age. Got to love the 40's. She is way young yet. Almost everyone freaks out about age. Age is a state of mind. If you think you are old then you are old. Young at heart and young of thought.

The internet was down all day at school today, so Oesdog, it kind of DID feel like the rapture had happened! I'm finally home now, looking forward to the Halloween weekend.

Happy Birthday, Math Ace!!

I'm baking some Gooey pumkin cake (they are really more like bars) to take to a friends house for a pumkin carving party. I don't feel that great, but I know my son will have fun so we are going anyway. Tomorrow I'll try to rest before the evening festivities.

Oesdog - beautiful daughter and grandbaby! They certainly LOOK like the madona and child! Hope she is doing better with motherhood.

Annaraven - don't worry, he'll be out of there before you know it. Then you'll miss him, I bet.

Have a wonderful evening.

Annaraven - Those highschool years go really fast - you don't think it now but when they are gone you will think it!!!!
I completely understand where your at. - Though when they do finally leave highschool and then get a place of their own - THEY STILL COME BACK!!!!!!!!!

Annaraven - Yes you can have the chickens however you may want to think how you are going to get them as doubtless the infrastructure of travel and transport may be a bit in disaray? - Actually Annaraven I would like to think if the rapture really did happen - then the chickens and all the rest of us wouldn;t actually be here!!! - I wonder if GOD has chickens???? All these questions and more will doubtless be anwered in time -
RANCHER - where are you ?????? We need clarification on raptured chickens? ( Thats Raptured NOT ruptured!!!) -

Morning/afternoon people,

Weather: still no frost, threats of it but nothing. Mid 50's today, upper 30's tonight.

The "bean D'ville" is all completed except for a run. I am using the tractor for a run.
We did 2 bush whacks on Monday. 1 was a "dead reconding(sp), we couldn't use a compass. The better half is happy, we completed the 3500 summer requirements, now to do the winter ones.

The better half hit the BIG "50" last month.

osedog: "I completely understand where your at. - Though when they do finally leave highschool and then get a place of their own - THEY STILL COME BACK!!!!!!!!!" - I have to agree with you.

Enjoy the day

Kaj
